Daniel Dennison

Senior Vice President

Daniel Dennison partners with pastors and church leaders to strengthen generosity culture, clarify vision, and lead successful capital campaigns that fund ministry and deepen spiritual engagement. Through his work with Horizons Stewardship, he helps churches navigate seasons of growth, transition, and major ministry initiatives with practical wisdom and a ministry-first approach to generosity.

Drawing on more than 15 years of executive church leadership and consulting experience, Daniel brings practical expertise in generosity, organizational health, strategic planning, governance, staffing, and leadership culture. He has worked with churches across a wide range of sizes and ministry contexts, including large, complex, multi-staff ministries, helping leaders build long-term ministry sustainability while engaging their people more deeply in the mission of the church.

Prior to joining Horizons, Daniel served as Executive Pastor and Chief of Staff at a 7,000-member multi-staff church, where he helped lead organizational change, strengthen staff culture, improve leadership alignment, and guide a successful $14 million capital campaign. Following the campaign, annual ministry giving increased by 20% over the next three years, while the church experienced meaningful growth in engagement, generosity, and organizational health.

Earlier in ministry, Daniel served for a decade as Executive Director and Campus Minister of a large college ministry in Oklahoma. In that role, he led strategic planning, organizational growth, fundraising, facility expansion, staff development, board development, and a successful capital campaign.

Daniel and his wife, Mindy, have been married for 20 years and live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They are proud parents of Ruth, McKenna, and Brick, and spend much of their free time helping their kids live their best lives as personal chauffeurs, chefs, activities coordinators, and acquisitions agents, especially for swim goggles.
