Kristine Miller

Partner

Kristine began her interest in generosity as a member of the stewardship team at her church. Like many others who find themselves in this position, she discovered she had much to learn about God’s view of generosity and became a stewardship junkie. Kristine believes, “This journey of discovery is one of the many ways in which God has expressed generosity to me. It is a journey that I expect will last a lifetime.” She serves as a Senior Vice President and Partner of Horizons Stewardship.

Kristine is a blogger, book author, and frequent speaker at stewardship conferences and other events. She has served as a vestry member at her parish and on several non-profit boards including TENS (The Episcopal Network for Stewardship) and Canterbury on-the-Lake, a non-profit senior care facility in Waterford, Michigan.  A native of Ohio, Kristine did her undergraduate work in Business Administration at The Ohio State University and received her M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University. Kristine has also achieved C.F.R.E. (Certified Fundraising Executive) status.

Kristine is a co-author of Bounty: Ten Ways To Increase Giving At Your Church (Abingdon Press, 2013) a book that helps churches to jumpstart their stewardship efforts.  She is also co-author of C.L.I.M.B. Higher: Reaching New Heights in Giving and Discipleship that outlines the process and theology for churches that wish to reach the summit of transformational stewardship.
