Senior Ministry Strategist
Chris is a change agent with over ten years of experience building organizations, delivering results, and challenging the status quo. As a member of the Horizons team, he brings his varied experiences of serving the church in the areas of youth, discipleship, spiritual formation, and as an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. In 2018, Chris and his wife, Erica launched Horizon Church in Tampa, Florida to reach Millennials and Gen Z with a compelling faith that impacts the community and transforms lives. Chris and Erica currently serve as Co-Pastors of Horizons Church in addition to their work with Horizons Stewardship.
Chris completed his undergraduate studies in history, American culture, and religious studies at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri where he also played football. He has also completed his Master of Divinity at Duke University Divinity School and is an ardent Blue Devils fan. Chris is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Florida.
Chris grew up in Tampa, Florida and enjoys cheering for the Florida Gators. Chris also enjoys running marathons and coaching high school football. Chris and Erica have three children and live in Tampa, Florida.
